stay away from sti and evo.. if its from stopped dead lunch.. they'll launch so much better.. on a roll you might be up for a challenge..

some of those numbers are really close, it might depend on the driver and the launch or road conditions. i would say there is no difference between our car at 5.1 and those other 5.0 cars. i would hardly call those "stay away froms" i know i won't be backing down to z4, 335i, and GT.

Yeah I don't back down from Z4s, 335i (if I ever see one around here) and GTs.

Never really had a problem with GTs actually, always able to take the stock/lightly modded ones at the track without an issue - its the more heavily modded ones that don't look like it that are the big surprise.

plus you can't win every challenge anyway, it's no fun if you only try when you know you can win.

anyway i don't condone street racing, not only is it illegal but also unsafe. all i can say is here in kansas, after midnite there isn't anyone on the streets. and the roads are long and straight you can see a stoplight ahead for a mile, in some cases three miles. and there are long stretches where there are no entry points into the road (there are deer around). outside my place, i hear them drag up and down 135th practically every night of the week. doesn't make it right tho.

add about 1 sec to all of those and you've got your real-world driving figures (a car on the road goes faster than one in the shop)

I have yet to lose to a Mustang GT.... I can't even count how many I've raced, on the street and on the track...
