The GTR R35 only a concept car.
Plus no one knows what the specs are for the new IS sports car. Probably near 419 horsepower.
Plus the GTR R35, when it goes into production would be competiting against the LF-A/GT

Thats like comparing apples and hamburgers. I'd have to guess and say the R34 would "beat" the IS350.. i'm not sure if you're talking about a drag race, lap times at the Ring, 0-100-0 or what... but the R34 is a sports car, while the IS is a luxury sports sedan.

i am pretty sure with heavy mods the IS is totally capable of beating it. i own a gsxr600 that runs 10.8 stock and i have raced a couple of IS350 that had NOS kits and turbos. they are fast!!!! but never could beat a bike

ur right, after the run they showed their engines and mods the engine bay was crammed, and later they told me their dad owns a custom performance shop down at miami. no wonder from what i remembered the IS 350 did a 11.2 for the quarter

Let me set this straight quickly.
R33 GT-R will hand the IS 350 its **** in a straight or curves.
R34 GT-R will hand the IS 350 its **** in a straight or curves.
R35 will do the same. From my understanding it will push TT and at LEAST 400hp
Of course those cars have none of the luxury of the IS.
Apples to Hamburgers is what someone said and is a perfect description.
The GT-R is Nissans FLAGSHIP kick *** sports coupe. The R35 goal was to BEAT THE 997 911 TURBO.
The IS would stand no chance.
Sorry.

Definitely be interesting to see a turbo IS350, I know there's a few heavily modded IS300s with turbos that can run 12s in the area.
