Winter Tires or All Season Tires?
A new Lexus owner here (2 weeks). I have an 06 IS350 with the 18" Dunlop summer tire. My question is, In the winter should I change to an all season tire or go with a winter tire.
If I go with all season, I have decided on Avon Tech M550... http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ech+M550+A%2FS
For the winter tire I have decided on Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25... http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....=Blizzak+LM-25
I am leaning toward the Bridgestone Blizzaks for the winter but was wondering what most do? Do you go with an all season or do you swap tires for the winter/summer seasons?
Thanks in advance for the help. This forum swayed me to purchase a Lexus. I was ready to sign the papers on a 3 series.

If your winters are severe enough to warrant different tires for winter, then I would definitely do true winter tires. We only have a few severe winter days here each year, so nobody ever does winter tires. If you are in NJ, then I don't think there's any reason to consider anything other than the Blizzaks.
Intuition tells me that you would want to swap back to normal tires once you don't need them anymore. I suspect that half worn winter tires wouldn't be much better than all seasons.
