I drive aggressively on occasion, and I've never felt it kick in. Either drive a little more carefully if it bothers you, or do the pedal dance. Based on you feeling it kick in "every day", I'd leave it on unless you're positive you're not going to get out of control. Everyone on this board seems confident that they're excellent drivers, but even excellent drivers make stupid decisions on occasion.

Never kicks in for me. Sometimes when I'm feeling frisky in the roads of Pasadena. I take it rather aggressive and the tires break traction, but I never lose power or anything, It just keeps going. Maybe I'm not pushing it like a psycho.

you will hear the beep when the VDIM kicks in. I drive very agressively but there's only been two times where VDIM beeps. I was driving like a retard.

A highly modified Celica AWD handles better than a stock Lexus?!! Who woulda thunk it?? Sounds like you should have bought an STi or Evo.

Wow, I had no idea that a 1000 lb lighter and modified vehicle will handle better than the stock 2IS.

I bet you I can get a go-kart to outhandle your celica =P

don't get me wrong... i like the car.. and didn't conside evo or sti cause it's not worth it in my opinion... but you would think a stock lexus would out do a 1990 toyota brand car... i'm pretty sure w/ vdim off it would be a little different..
