Does anyone know where the navigation computer dvd drive is located in an 07 is 350 non ml? I'm assuming its somewhere you can access it to update software eventually but have been unable to locate it. I haven't looked very hard, buts its not in any obvious place. Thought i'd be lazy and just ask before tearing my car apart.

It's behind the clock. There is a convoluted procedure to remove the clock assembly, then eject the map disc. It's on page NS-242 in 0550069.pdf of the navigation manual.

thanks for the info, they don't make it very easy to get to. my dealer told me it was in the trunk. i told them they were misinformed when i put my xm in and it wasn't there.

Yes, there is even a special tool (looks like a bent paperclip) in the toolkit to remove the plastic panel with the clock.
