Default Finally, it's clear bra-ed

Have had the IS350 since June. I finally got the clear bra today in New Jersey; venture guard film is used. I now feel more confident driving on New York City's roads. I paid $520, which is pretty cheap compared to shops in the City. Shops in the city wanted $800 from me. Perhaps I don't know much about clear bra or you get what you pay for; the bra looked good when it was done, but I started seeing some bubbles and patterns - don't know how to describe them. Dude told me it needed a few days to completely dry, so I guess I will wait and see. This bra will at least by me 2-3 years scratch-free on the bumper; it's still good.

Lots of water marks in the last photo. I hope those are on top of the film, and not underneath.

I think those water marks are also past the bra if im not mistaken, but Doctor see if u can go back to the place and tell them to fix certain concentrated areas with the Bubbles. If they disagree i have a place in the Bronx/Westchester i work closely with that is a 3m Retailer who may be able to help you out.

Looks to me like there were water spots on the paint, and they just applied the film over them. They should have THOROUGHLY cleaned the paint before applying the film. I would take it back unless it looks better after a day or two in the sun.

It also looks like you might have some marring in the paint on at least one of those pictures. If they end up reapplying, I would consider polishing out defects first.

Unfortunately, applying the film several months after having the vehicle does have it's disadvantages.
