ISbb, have you read your service manual? In the USA, doing your own service (like oil changes) or having it done elsewhere, does not void the warranty.

Well, when I had my oil changed at Lexus, they washed the car and cleaned the interior. Toyota has never done that when I dropped my 4runner there.

All the more reason to skip going to the Lexus dealer. I don't want them to put a bunch of swirl marks in my paint, even if it's free.

By the way, it's not free if you're paying 3x as much for the extra service.

Maybe the toyota guys will take your IS350 for a joyride! They'll say "Let's test this 306hp beast out for lunch!" and you can end up with a crashed IS.

I don't know about your Lexus dealer, but mine uses the same type of products I use to wash my car. Nothing but microfiber towels and wash mitts.

And my services for 3 years......are free. I'm in the Air Force and the manager at Lexus of Tucson is retired Air Force so he threw that in as an incentive for me. So my case is a little special.

There is no such thing as a FREE lunch!!!!!!!!
Lets do the math, the toyota dealership wants to charge me $600 dollars for the 30,000mile service but Lexus wants to charge me $1800 bucks. I guess I can buy a lot of free lunches for the extra $1200 i pay at Lexus!!!!

Find a good local independent shop. I'll bet they will charge you only $300 and service you just as well as the Toyota dealer. I'm only talking routine maintenance stuff, warranty or major repairs are better off with the dealer . . .
