How much is your lease payment?
Hi there everyone,
I am trying to get a idea of what others are currently paying for their lease payments. I have seen such a range of payments and costs of these cars and I was just wondering what others are paying for theirs. I have a friend of mine who was quoted close to $800 per month for a 07 IS 250 RWD, Premium Package, Nav, G-spyders, spoiler, XM radio, 15000 miles per month on a 36month lease. His downpayment is just minimum drive off fees of about $1500. His payment is higher than what mine is so I thought I would post it on the board and find out what others are paying. Your help and input is greatly appreciated.
Please post if you would be so kind, your lease terms, how many miled pers year, drive off fees, and terms, 3 year lease 4 year lease etc. It would help too if you would speficiy an IS 250 or IS 350.
thanks everyone.

I helped my sister-in-law leased an 06 IS350 with Lux package, nav, ML, preferred package, and headlight washer for 585/month. The drive-off fee for her was only $1000. Hope this helps.
EDIT: Sorry, forgot to mention the terms. It's for 36 month with 12000 miles/yr.

My 250 was going to be roughly $430/month, $1000 down, 36 mo, 12K miles/year. That's until I decided to purchase instead. I don't know how you could get to a payment of $800/mo on a 250. Time for your friend to be smart, and do his/her homework before ever setting foot in the dealership.
And the number one rule, always... never, ever deal on a car based on monthly payment. I promise you that you'll be raped up and down if you go about it that way.

After this fiasco, I quickly learned that the right way to leasing a car is going in there pretending as if you're going to purchase and haggling on the PRICE of the car. Once satisfied w/the price, you can then talk about monthly payments and tell them you want to lease instead of purchase.

This is my first lease, so I'm REALLY curious why there is anything other than initial payment, monthly payments, annual mileage, and duration that matters. What else is there to negotiate (for a lease). I totally agree that monthly payments are a poor netotiation point for a purchase.

Leased 6/30/06 12k miles/year 36 months lease in Norcal
$650/month no down payment
base price 40500 IS350 with sport/ML
MF was about 0.0029
Go to the dealer at the end of the month, better yet, at the end of the quarter to get the best deals. I got a good price but I was so happy I neglected to deal with the monthly payments so I got screwed with the MF Oh well, lesson learned.
