Has anyone add (external) dvd player to NON-ML system? If you have, could you show us some pictures w/details and what type of dvd player are you use? Thanks a bunch.

Check this!

And you will need a cable for external Video/Audio, like this.

You can buy an external DVD play everywhere in US
As for the cable, you can DIY by yourself if you can get the harness.

non-ml doesn't play dvd, and I don't know how to connect an external player to the navi. I did some researches from this forum, but no luck. But seem like the only way to do it is connect to where the backup camara is.

the soundlinq units for ipods and xm radio, etc create an addtional input for the navi/sound system. you should be able to plug an external dvd into there.
how do you run the nav dvd right now?

I read somewhere that all you need to do is change the CD changer in the non-ML to Lexus's DVD changer. I think someone's CD changer broke and their dealer accidentally ordered the DVD changer instead of the CD changer.
