I doubt it. It works for Pioneer head units. I don't think the 2IS stock unit is Pioneer...

EDIT: our units are actually Pioneer. Hmmm...

EDIT #2: What's the new LS system? Pioneer with 5th Gen nav? It has XM traffic. If it's compatible with the LS, it should be compatible with the 2IS...

It's probably the same tuner, except the OEM one doesn't have NAVtraffic and all the plugs are different so that it won't be a plug and play unit.

I could be going out on a limb here, but doesn't Toyota and Lexus use Eclipse for their navigation systems? The interface is practically identical.

And compare the interface from this: http://www.eclipse-web.com/avn7000/spe.html to the navigation in your own car.

Also, I have been on the phone with Fujitsu Ten before about their Eclipse nav and asked if they are the same as what is in Lexus, and she told me aside from different interface icons, that they are virtually identical.

Sure, she could be mis-informed, but it's either Fujitsu Ten or Denso on the nav. I don't believe Pioneer supplies that part of the unit.
