I was having problems with my moonroof. It was rattling and the seal seemed loose. So I brought it in to get checked out. The service dept called me a couple hours later and told me they found another problem. They said that there was a Service Order out on some of the models about rattling in the left side dash. So they are going to have to pull it off and fix it.

Did anyone else have this problem or is having rattling in their dash?

I've heard of a couple of people complaining about rattling, which is very rare for Lexus.

I believe they quick fixed it at the dealer. It just needs some tightening of nuts/bolts/screws/etc. No biggie...

Get it fixed and enjoy your car.

Me Too!! I have an annoying creak from the sunroof that is remedied by opening the roof or closing the sunshade. I figured its the seals. I also have creaking over rough roads in the dash on the left and the right. Also some rattling in the driver door next to my ear somewhere. My gf keeps telling me I'm asking too much from car. to tell you the truth this was normal (acceptable) on my 01 325i but I don't know about a brand new car. I will definitely mention it to the dealer on my first service

i have my 06 IS350 for about 2 months now and two weeks after i bought the car i started to hear some rattle from the monroof only when the shade is pulled back. so i took it to the dealer a week ago and they told me they put some kind of foam in there and it shouldn't rattle anymore. guess what its rattling again and its driving me crazy. I am going to take it back to dealer in couple of days and keep you guys posted.

You should definitely take it in and mention that there might be a Service Call regarding rattling in the dash. Thats what Oxnard Lexus told me and they are fixing it... I didnt even bring my car in for that. I'm glad they did more than just look at what I brought it in for.... otherwise I would have never noticed.

What kind of "rattle" noise is this? I too have a funny noise. ONLY when I tilt it. And it won't make any noise until after driving for like 15 minutes. Sounds like a screw loose.

I just noticed a rattle from the dash today,it is driving me absolutley nuts! Especialy that I can't figure out where it is coming from.

they told me that the rattling is deep in the dash board on the left side. I didnt even notice it... but they told me. I noticed the stupid moonroof rattling... only when closed though. when open or tilted it didn't make noise.

I got rattle from the dash too. But it only happens when I drive up to 75mph-85mph.

what kind of rattle is it from the dash? i have a slight rattle from the left side of my dash right by the vent... but if i press down on that side it goes away.. but it's very low and it comes and it goes.. but with the stereo on you can't even hear it.. but i do want to get rid of it

hmm I have a rattle in my moonroof too

I can hear it pretty clearly when the headliner cover is pulled back and the glass is exposed...guess I should bring it to the dealer too
