i dunno doesnt look like a shopping cart to me. if it was a shoppin cart then it looks like it was done on purpose. im confused as to how it happened like that. were u parked when the rear facing in and front facing out? if so then i can see somebody pulling out and turning too early.

Ya I agree, a shopping cart aint going to do that type of damage.
Bad parkers tend to turn their steering wheel too early as they back out usually clipping the adjacent parked car in the process. Be wary of parking next to larger SUVs on their passger side.

I had my Supra parked in the back lot at the Luxor in 2000 for SILV '00. I came out to the car and found a crease in the left rear 1/4 panel. Needless to say I was really pissed off.
The next day I got in the car and drove off. I noticed a piece of paper stuck under the windshield wiper. I stopped at a traffic light and pulled it off. It was a business card with a name, phone number, and an apology for hitting the car. It included a request to contact with an estimate for repairs.
He send a check FedEx for the full amount as soon as I faxed him the estimate.
It's not always a total jerk that accidentally damages your car.
