Default washed my car and now

i washed my car tonight and when i was done i started it and now th lights are on saying low tire pressure but the tires are just fine.do i need to take my car in for service.or should i wait till everytihg is dry and disconnect the battery to reset the codes.

The cool water probably cooled the tire below the threshhold signal setting for the system to activate. Before you take it in, I would get a good tire pressure gauge and set the tire pressures to the recommended cold settings. Then reset the system (using the satellite button). Hopefully after that you won't have any more problems.

What tire pressures did you see when you checked them?

you say the "tires are just fine" by simply looking at it visually or did you check it with a tire pressure if i may ask?? same thing just happened to me a few days ago where my low pressure light went off with the warning and just by looking at all the tires everything seemed fine. i pulled to a station and checked all 4 tires and found the rear passenger low at about 28 pounds. took it to a tire shop where it had a small leak and got it plugged. make sure you check the pressure with a guage to be sure. good luck
