Default lexus will tweak stock amp?

My friend in Atlanta told me he went to the dealership to get car washed and was just talking to a service rep on how he thought the bass was kind of weak. He was told that Lexus can tweak the amp so that there is more bass out of stock amp for free....true???

I have the non-ML and so does he

Most amps have a **** that controls bass, so it should have the capability for tuning the bass.

Do you have the stock or ML system?

Hmmm...

I was afraid that the stock amp did not have it.
Does the ML?

Might need to get an aftermarket amp and subwoofer for extra bass...

He was probably just saying that the bass needed to be turned up on the head unit.

Woah, the stock amp doesn't let you adjust bass? Does it let you adjust anything else? Treble? Fade? Balance?

What about the ML system?

You have all the bass, mid, treble, fader, and balance controls on both systems. However the actual adjustments, including the volume, are made in the amp and are controlled from the dash using the regular volume **** and bass, mid, treble, balance, and fader buttons. The head unit and amp are electronically linked together and work in unison. Remove one from the system and the other will not work.
