Default Found hidden access to Nav. feature on non-ML

First, let me say that I have NAV, but not with the ML audio/video (those smart Lexus folks don't think we need a great audio system in the northeast, so they don't ship them to this region).

Whenever I've hit the the "Display" button, I only got 2 adjustment options - "Contrast" and "Brightness."

However, today when I was shifting from Neutral to Reverse, I hit the "Display" button and not only did I get those 2 options, but the "Color" and "Tone" options came up - the first time I ever saw them. This is NOT available any other time! I simply discovered it by accident.

When I got home tonight I back-tracked and figured out how I did it. Try it, I'm interested in seeing how many of you have the same thing.

Like I said, it's never pops up any other time but when putting it in reverse from neutral. You can adjust both the day and night screens.

The manual only shows the "FOUR" adjustment options for the NAV/ML package.

Check it out.

I believe its for adjustments when the system receives the video signal. When you have it in Reverse, then its taking in the video from your backup camera. For ML version, those options show up whenever you play a DVD.
