im not talking about the few moments after you just turn the AC off because i know it takes time to run out. the problem for me is sometimes i start the car with ac OFF but it still blows AC. i know this because on a hot sunny day its cold air. it doenst always do this, but its an on off thing.

i have nav , so i was wondering it coudl be something wrong with the software....
is anythign else having problems with this?

happens to me too. Have the AC on, turn car off, turn car on, and AC is on but light is off...

There was a thread about this a few days ago. The compressor runs whenever air is directed to the defroster outlets at the base of the windshield. This happens all the time if you pick the bi-level setting with the defroster icon.
