Now here is a pic of when I had the faulty bulb(s). Notice that the drivers side bulb aims down instead of straight ahead like the passenger side:
Couldn't you have adjusted the left headlight aim by turning the adjustment screws per the manual? The reason I'm asking is because after I had my XenonDepot 3000k HID fog light kit installed, the left fog light exhibits the same exact thing as your left headlight. It's pointing lower than the right one and out further to the left. Could it be defective as well?
i can also vouch for the excellent customer service from xenondepot i have a 1.5 year old XD harness in my gs one of the relays went bad i couldnt find it anywhere i called steve he sent me a new one (wanted 2 steve) all i did was pay for shipping excellent !!!
actually, i know it was the bulbs b/c when i used the bulbs from my previous kit i never had an aiming issue. the previous bulbs had perfect focus and direction. as far as your fogs go, i recently replaced my fogs with some yellow bulbs and i noticed that my passenger side fog light aimed up. when the stock halogen bulbs were in there i never had the problem but once i switched to the yellow bulbs, i notice it all the time when its on..
Ok, I actually didn't need to swap the bulbs. I adjusted the left fog light by turning a screw behind the housing and now the aim and beam pattern are perfect. Thanks for your help, BlitzIS250 and XenonDepot. Sorry for sidetracking your thread.
