AgBlue,

Did you find anything yet? I will compensate you for your time and trouble.

I don't mind taking apart a '07 to take a look. It's not that hard removing the unit. I just need a car.

Thanks for any help
I wanted to know the same thing, and Is anyone near Orlando that can do the override on a 07 is250, no ml.

I would prefer the key override. for the Denso 1650, Map v06.05.10; has annyone "cracked" it yet? I'm sure we could scrap up some "donations" if some motivation was needed

I'm curious if everything behind there is still the same. It should be, but who knows.
Yeah I'm not sure if it's the same, tho it should be. However, the fact that the other hack was disabled makes me wonder if it's just a software or hardware difference.

Apparently you can be liable for up to eight other vehicle if the driver crashes while watching a movie. Eight cars in a year might qualify you as a pseudo-dealer performing unauthorized car work....did you get a signed waiver from the owner?

Hey Ben, no problem if you don't mind cracking open your new car.

I'm just kinda worried cuz I haven't seen anyone say clearly that it works on an 07 yet. I would hate to be a guinea pig, but if you don't mind, I'll be glad to help. Just send me a message when you're ready.

Hey guys, I just ordered my 07 IS350 and I asked the dealer about the version of NAV that comes with the 07...... I told him if it came with Gen6 and he said NO it comes with Gen5!! He also said that the only difference between the 06 and 07 is that the screen has a better resolution and it is more user freindly. He infact showed me the 07 model and the NAV screen looked pretty good! SO, his he just Full O S.... OR is he telling the truth about the version of the NAV?!?!

Mmmm, '06 & '07 is essentially the same Gen5 Navigation. It's only slight "software" updated. There is no Gen6 yet. Aside from the hidden menu being gone, there is probably updated roads, that's it.

Hardware is the same for 2006 and 2007, both are the generation 5 systems. The software in the 2006 is version 5 and in the 2007 it is version 6. Just an updated map , and loss of the damn navi hack!!!

I was one of the 2 cars that Pocky worked on today. Very clean install. He definitely knows what he is doing. If you can get him to do the work, I'd definitely recommend going with him. The cost was minimal, such that it wouldn't be worth it for me to risk it on my $40k+ car for the small fee. He has had experience with almost 10 hacks.

We had some minor issues getting the A/C vent clip to release (on one of them), but after much effort and no success, I just held it down while he pulled out the vents.

Default Anyone in the DFW area?

Is there anyone in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area interested in helping me with the NAV hack? I have an '06 IS250 with ML, Nav, etc. and would like to enable DVD, bluetooth, and destinations while driving.
