I've had my IS250 for 3 weeks and 500 miles. What worries me it's that I hear a fast ticking noise when outside the car. I went to my dealer and talked to a mechanic and basically said that the ticking noise it's injectors heads opening and closing " new technology " is this true ?

how does your engine sounds when standing outside the car? Did I buy a Lexus or Honda civic?

Once inside the car, I hear absolutely nothing.. it's silent. You can only hear the fast ticking when outside the car. It's really annoying to me, I was expecting a silent engine from Lexus.
