Default R-Vinyl Red taillight question..

I just installed one side of the lights, but i still noticed some air bubbles in the light, and when using my creditcard to smooth it out i noticed that it was scratching the vinyl..is this normal for air bubbles to still be there? do they eventually go away? and if ever wanted to take them off does it ruin your taillights with sticky stuff?

have to reapply then probably unless you take a needle and poke the air and squeeze it down, i have no air bubbles anywhere

hmm not sure about that, i dont know if theres adhesive left after it dries, you might have to take a needle, poke the airbubble and squeeze it out depending on the size of it

i used lightly soapy water

applied it

used a heat gun on low heat.. about 8-10 inches away...

used my thumb & micro fiber towel too push out the bubbles...

apply heat until it full adheres..

then... fold in the edges

done!

When I installed mine, I made sure I used a lot of soapy water. It's just like tinting a window. I didn't use a heat gun though. Mine have been on for about 5 months now, and they still look fine.

of course you dont NEED to.. but if you got it.. use it.. it'll certainly dry up much quicker with less chances of bubbles
