I talked to this guy, he seems to exaggerate about everything. Not just this accident. 70-90 mph? I don't think so. Maybe 35-45mph.

Okay speedwise it might not seem plausable, but how in the world do we know how fast he was going? he might have initially been at that speed than hit the curb at a significantly lower speeds... obviously he didnt hit the curb at 70 to 90. The main thing is that the damage was minor and no one got hurt.

i am thinking the speed was about 70-90 before the curb and he absulutely braked the hell out of it.. i am around 10-20 is 350s everyday and i can drive the **** out of it.. i promise you there is a weight shift to the front like you would not believe when you try to turn and brake.. i know any car will have the same shift but if you are in the same satuation please do push the gas to speed through the curve. if you brake i dont care vsc or vdim you will pull out side in the front.. i do think when he hit the side walk he was going around 50 or so.. there is no way it was any less. i still think we have a bad *** car that can handles better than anything you can get for 35-40Gs.. just got to know how to drive it.. when you have someone only drives a boat like towncar or regal, he has no idea how to control... more than likely he over steered first... and then locked up the wheels .. the car pushed out side with the momentum and hit the side walk side ways front first.. thays why the front wheel is so bad.. and then the back end hit the side walk and just hurt the side wall.. of course the estimate on the cost of repair might seem less for most cause i work for the dealership so i got hooked up.. paid 250$ for two wheels, 80$ for the front bumber "just the scratch pad" and 200$ for the side skirt.. the tires cost more than all the above.. for normal people the same damage would have cost over 5000$.. i would imagine..

Wheel and tire warrantys are GREAT to have. Especially with 35-45 series tires, but it won't pay for stupid behavior like this.

why dont you list me a few vehicles you can buy that has 300+ horsepowers, vdim, etc. for 35-40$.. i consider myself to be a pro at vehicles that are being sold in the market right now.. since thats all i do everyday for living.. i want to see what you think is comparable to is in power and handling in the same price range..

OK, "pro"...

Here are 3. I'm sure there are plenty more.
BMW 335i Sedan MT $38,700
Infiniti G35 Sedan MT $31,200
Volvo S60 R Sedan MT $38,385

Now, power was aded, vdim and etc.. It would help if you be more specific and tell me your criteria.

The key word is the "I" in "I consider myself to be a pro"

Furthermore, in your original statment you simply mentioned handling and price and now you come back and add power and vdim to your argument which is pretty lame since vdim is a lexus technology, so you've pretty much narrowed down your criteria to the IS and the IS only.
