TP was not my first color choice, but it was on the lot, with all the options I wanted, so I went to see it. I was really unimpressed with the whole look of it with the stock painted wheels, and no pinstripe, but after adding the chrome rims, THAT was an impressive looking automobile! I don't think you'll regret getting chrome. It's also easy to clean.

I was at Sewell yesterday and at least HALF of their cars (not just IS's) had the pinstriping. Mine was pinstriped when I arrived to pick it up last year, despite the fact that I specifically told them not to. I wound up getting it for free, and I actually really like the pinstripe now.

I bought mine before they tinted, and pinstriped it, and waited for them to do it that day, so I saw it before and after. After was better.

Nicely done. How long did that take you?

Thanks. I presume you mean the photos, and not the waxing?
I left the house shortly before 6pm, and posted the photoshoped pics about 11pm. So, 5 hours. The 10 I posted were the best of about 80 taken. I did it fairly quickly, since I'm pretty familiar with the camera, FTP, Photoshop, etc..

Anybody else have chromed stock wheels with/without logos?
After reconsideration, I think I prefer the symetrical look of the wheel without the logo in the center! Maybe Sewell made that same determination (instead of just trying to save a buck)?

Stop distributing so many close ups. They all look the same and don't do your car any justice.

Take lots of pictures in all different angles multiple times, but when you share, only share a few good ones, makes your car seem more special

I have the same stock chromed wheels and they came with the logo.

They may be a bit hard to see in this pic but they're there:

Thank YOU, for that sage advice, sir. I'm sure that when I have attained your age, wisdom, and photographic expertise, I'll use better judgement... What? You're 18? Oh, never mind.

Great looking pics. Too bad that texas makes you put that big sticker in your window. I know other states do also. But the car looks great.

You noticed that, too, eh? That's a new version of it, and it is big and ugly with the opaque border around it. To add insult to injury, Lexus stuck the first sticker on there too high (to avoid covering the 'Lexus' glass sticker), and so now the license sticker is right in my field of view, sometimes!
Thanks for the compliment.

nice pics...

IMHO car looks a lot cleaner w/o the front plates... I've been driving in texas for 15 years w/o a front plate, i know it's the law but i've never had a problem, and i've been pulled over dozens of times..

wife's car doesn't have em either

btw, you got the best color

You like Tungsten Pearl over your Glacier Frost Mica? That's the first time I've ever heard of a Glacer Frost owner preferring another color over his own...
