Default K&N Air Filters

Have anybody replace there air filter with the K&n filter? If so, what is the differance you feel in your ride. Where you got it and how much? I am really thinking about getting it since it would still look factory but better breathing for the car.

Just put in the filter last week, and really can not tell a diff. You know it should flow better so that's good enough for me.

I have it paired up with a Joe-Z intake pipe. I did not feel any difference nor did I expect to. It did make the intake tone just slightly deeper.

yeah, i think will get one soon, knowing my engine breath better is good enough for me. I can't believe how the factory filter can get any air going to the engine the way it look.

Actually the factory air filter works GREAT! Even with several thousand miles on it I got identical numbers on back to back dynos in comparison to the Blitz drop in filter. I'd imagine the K&N would be similar.

i put in a K&N drop in, didnt really notice anything, idle was a tad smoother when the AC was off. I need to get a JoeZ when they are back in stock

i might give blitz a chance, since k&n need oil and might hurt the sensor. I guess this is one of those things you do for ease of mind thinking your engine will breath better.

It might 'breath' better but you do know that the extra flow comes at a cost of decreased filtration.
