since i came to realize that converting a non-navi car to Navi wasnt worth the time and money, im starting to consider an aftermarket deck now. But this leads me to one question....

Is there anyway to integrate the aftermarket deck with the stock steering wheel? i mean somehow control the volume etc with the aftermarket deck?

anything can be done, i have seen a scion Tc with an aftermarket deck do that......call a stereo shop, they may have a idea how to do that.

yea.. it's going to probably be custom... you'll get an aftermarket unit that has a huge screen.. preferebly large lcd... and have custom braket in the back ... and a nice front finish that hopefully match something...

any good stereo shop could do this for you.. it gets pricey ~

if you could get your hands on a USD Plexer your problems would be solved... but they have been of the market for awhile. maybe a Ebay search will get you one???? good luck
