This may be the last opportunity up here before the winter gear has to be put on...
Thanks to Joe (GSE25) for the pictures!

Hi guys, great photos. Perhaps as fellow Torontonians you can help me with a question that I have about the IS 350 prior to going ahead with my purchase. I haven't been able to get any info on how it does in the snow. I know we generally don't get that much snow in Toronto, but when we do I want to know that with snow tires I will be okay. I won't have two cars so no option of having a AWD vehicle as a back up for bad snow days. I have a laneway that doesn't get plowed by the city that I will have to traverse. Do you think I'll be okay compared to my current Acura TL without snows on it? I've been told by the dealership that with snow tires on the IS I would be as good if not better than the TL with just the allseasons on it.

TorontoTL,
As a IS350 owner who had experienced the last winter, I can say that this car is quite stable in snow w/ good decent snow tires. I find the traction is better than IS300 probably because IS350 is heavier.
For any RWD in snow, a suitable set of winter tires is the most important.
For your reference, I was using Dunlop M3 as the snow tires on 17" inch Lexus wheels.
I remember seeing a Canadian IS350 w/ 18" snow tires and he said it was pretty good. (either in this forum or in my.is)
Hope it helps.
