" I have yet to test a car that is as close to the magazine times as the IS. Car and Driver has a 5.1 0-60 and I hit a 5.6. Most cars I'm testing here are between .6 and 1 full second slower than what the magazines are getting. So once broken in, I think the IS is going to be even better.[/QUOTE]"
Car and Driver uses some formula to "Standardize" temp, barometric pressure, altitude, etc. That C/D test was performed near Death Valley at 150 feet below sea level and 110 degrees, and IMHO was a little generous once the formula adjusted the 0-60 time to 5.1.
BTW, My best 1/4 mile at a track in FL, with 93 degrees and 2 feet above sea level
was 13.91, with only 750 miles on the odo.

I think its good to know that relatively speaking, the IS350 is faster "real world", compared to the Magazine times, than any other car I've tested!
