Default Power outlet in the trunk?

Hi everyone, a newbie here with a question

I was looking for a 12v DC power outlet (you know, the same round socket you can find in the center console whose placement is one of the only two things I don't like about this otherwise fabulous vehicle along with "almost too quiet" engine/exhaust for a sport sedan that I believe it meant to be) in my 2006 IS250's trunk but I couldn't seem to find one. Is it just my bad eyes + my stupidity or does it not come with one?

I did try to search but I couldn't find the answer..but please excuse me if this has been addressed. Thanks in advance!

It doesn't have one. (Sounds like a sport utility vehicle feature, not something you'd find on a proper sport sedan )

I believe the 2 you are referring to are located in the center console and the cig ashtray

You could always install one in the trunk, I've seen it done.

Why would you need one in the trunk, considering the IS is a sport sedan and all... unless you're tailgating at a game or something... but if you're gonna tail-gate, then you mind as well find someone with an SUV or truck.

Actually, I was working on my carputer project (I'm a computer geek )

I have a few leftover computer parts so I thought I'd recycle them and it just so happens that I'll be using standard ATX case.

So I decided to place it in the trunk and was just trying to make things a little easier by avoiding power wire coming all the way from the center console (or cig ashtray for that matter)...Any ideas? Yes, yes I know I'll probably have to run other cables from/to center console anyway.

By the way..I could have sworn that I had a power outlet in 2003 Hyundai Sonata that I used to drive...so I didn't know it was a sport-ute feature
