Hell, I didn't really find the option to answer the poll. I'm only 5'8" and I still don't find the leg room adequate. In fact my kids complain about the the leg room...

I’m curious about the one vote for Good/Comfortable. If true then he must be so small that he shouldn't be able to reach the petals in the front. Then how does he manage to drive his/her 2IS?

I've been wondering the same thing since that vote first came in!

If you are buying a ISX50 for rear seat leg room, be afraid be very afraid or befriend some double amputees quickly.

I'm 5'10" and my 5'8" sister sitting behind me (driving) was seriously, like (female dog)ing in 15 minutes, cramped. Things are a little bit more flexible behind the passenger. I think three six footers would be, the third behind the passenger, the comfort limit and those other two would have to willing to work at it a bit.

it's basically a coupe with 4 doors.. not a sedan coupe like the CLS which has more room i guess i'm used to it now having people behind my back.. don't cramp up as much as before and i'm about 5'11

You could fit your two brothers comfortably in the back seat... just be sure to have them in the spoon position!

Haha, they might like that too much.

It's about the smallest 4 door I've seen for leg room. Forget comparing it to a Camry, even a Corolla has more space back there. What can you do? It's rear drive and made for speed.
Actually, my sister-in-law's 2 door civic has more rear space but it's tougher to get in than the four door. Kids fit fine and it's loads more space than the used Porsche 996 I was considering.

in my opinion, the back leg room is little to nonexistent...

i'm not the one riding back there so it doesn't bother me one bit! lol

My Scion tC has 3" more leg room than the IS. But the IS works perfectly for my needs.

The leg room in the back of the car doesn't bother me at all.

1) I'm not the one sitting back there unless I'm passed out drunk and someone else is driving.

2) I rarely have passengers in the backseat anyways.

3) It's not a family car. When I bought the I wasn't thinking about no one else but myself..........Even though I live with my girlfriend and her son.

Rear leg room in the 2IS IMO is not good. I have a couple friends that are 6'+ and while they fit back there, they're not very happy about it. Luckily I rarely have passangers in the back. If I thought I would have anyone back there on a regular basis, I'd probably be driving an M45 today.

my parents who are under 5'5" say the back seats are uncomfortable. Not only due to the leg room but they complain that the seats are angled too high.

I only have people in the back seat about 5-10% of the time. Of those limited number of times, the trip is usually 20 min. or less. It doesn't seem to be much of an issue. If I must have some tall people in the back, I can scoot up a bit and still be comfortable driving, I just won't be laid back like I normally am.

All in all, it's not really a back seat I would want to be in for more than 20-30 minutes, but it is do-able, mostly for people under 5'8".
