Default Replacing Stock Bulb with White Bulb

I can't seem to find a thread on replacing stock headlight bulbs with white bulbs. Can someone point me to that direction or explain to me how this is done. I can't find my Lexus manual. And what white bulbs do you recommend?

TIA !

I'm assuming here that you do NOT have HID lamps. The original equipment bulbs for the low beams are H11 (also noted in the owners manuel). I am changing my bulbs out for a set of PIAA Xtreme White bulbs. Street legal but put out close to TWICE the light as the standard bulb and run cooler. Not cheap but well worth it. Have used them for the past ten years without a problem and have never had to replace them.

That thread above is making my eyes crossed

Yes, that correct. I don't have HID. Thanks for the website. Now, how do I replace the bulbs? What do I have to take apart?

^ From the link: "12V55W = 110 Watt"
What does it mean?

If I recall my basic electronic course correctly, Power = Voltage * Current
If PIAA bulb put out twice as much light (claimed), then it will need that extra boost of power from somewhere. The only way is to draw more current.

Standard halogen draws around = 55 watt / 12 volt = 4.6 Amp
PIAA bulb draws around = 110 watt / 12 volt = 9.2 Amp.
That is one heck of *continuous* current draw for the OEM wiring.
Will some parts of the wiring (i.e wire, harness, light switch inside the steering) be burnt sooner or later? ...

Please correct me if I am wrong
