Do you think that the HID fog is blinding to on comming traffic?

i was wondering this too... i have 7000k noyka bulbs for fogs and high beams and was thinking about changing to HIDs but i dunno if they will be too much. i'm waiting for some HID upgrades for the low beams too...

mine works fine. 9006 D2S 4200K Bulbs. Works great with OEM Matsu****a Ballast.

It matches really well with the OEM D4S 4800K Bulbs.

is it too overwhelming in brightness? if i got hid fogs, they would be at least 6000K, preferrably 6500-7000K

6500 or higher is too blue for my taste

i havent had any cars flash their highbeams at me so i would say no.

The brightest point aims toward the ground. Mine are very bright (HID low beams & HID fogs on 2G GS). When I do get high beamed its because paople think its the beam aimed at them. People get confused, so I flash my highbeams so they get it. THEN it gets real bright.

HID fogs shouldn't blind oncoming traffic if you have them aimed properly. Fog lights are supposed to be aimed at the ground, not straight ahead. Please make sure that your fogs are aimed properly, even if you don't have HID's - it's very easy to do and we certainly don't want to be responsible for any accidents...

i'm going for the blue look. they're blue right now and i like it, so i guess i don't NEED to change them to HIDs. I personally don't like the yellow fogs.

not at all since the HID just replacing the stock fog light I do think so unless you adjust the light level which is not an option for the foglight...

My HID fogs don't seem to be blinding at all since they're pointing on the ground. Also, it's possible to adjust fog light aim. Look at my thread:

i have 6000k (purple) hids for my driving lights and 3500k hids (yellow) for my fogs... haven't had anyone high beam me because fog lights tend to aim towards the ground.. only thing with my lights is the yellow kinda overpowers my driving lights.. lol.. but that's a different story...

Like Javy said...Fogs shouldn't blind oncoming traffic if they are aimed right. Which should already be aimed properly from the factory setting. I have 8000K on my fogs and I dont think they blind people. I haven't had no one flash their lights at me. It does light up the road very nice with 8000k headlights too.
