Default Survey of 06 & 07 2IS Bugs.

I just wanted to get some surveys among the 06 and 07 owners about some of the bugs that were happening on the 06 model. And just wanted to know if they've been fixed or not? Also, wanted to see if Lexus listened to their customers or not.

So, I guess I will list few that I know and hopefully you guys can post any bugs on your 06 model and someone else from newer 07 model will hopefully read the posts and confirm/unconfirm that it has been fixed or not.....

2006 IS250/IS350
1) Rear View Mirror vibrating
2) Cup-holders not big enough
3) Suspension Rattle
4) Leather Seat Wrinkles
.
.
.
Let the Survey Begin, hopefully!

Rattling in the interior, rattling while moon roof is on tilt, vibrating rear view, and squeaky brakes for me. I have the 250 AWD.

was there a thread on the moon roof tilt rattling? i can't find it if there was one... i wanna figure out why that is. it always bugs me. the rear view doesnt vibrate as much for me now... i think it only did it at a certain angle.

my complaints are the moon roof, brakes making noise the first time i step on it, and the rear view WAS a problem until it just stopped...

is it just me or does it seem like the 250 owners are having more problems? and where are all the 07 people? does this mean they fixed them all or none of the problems have appeared yet? someone with an 07 speak up please!

I agree with the rattling interior. Have you gotten that repaired at all?? I am having the same problem, but I have the 07 model..

Also the brake dust is kind of excessive as well, but I can live with that.

1. Rearview mirror vibrates but it honestly doesn't bother me
2. Rattle from the front of the moonroof when tilted like others have mentioned

No other issues *knocking on wood*

...There is no way you seriously just posted "Leather Seat Wrinkles" as a 2IS bug.. There are plenty of leather cleaners/conditioners out there to help you correct/prevent this "bug." I recommend Lexol for regular use and Leatherique for extreme cases.

Oh and just to clarify, the bug lies within the owner, not the manufacterer nor the car itself. If you maintained your leather regularly, it wouldn`t ever happen.

No doubt. WTF.

Here's my list of bugs:

1) Insects stick to the front of the car when I hit them at 100+ MPH.
2) Black leather seats get hot when the car sits in the sun.
3) Chrome exhaust outlets get dirty.
4) I can hear road noise when driving. Lexus cars should be dead-silent at any speed.
5) Radio doesn't automatically mute when commercials are on.
