Default I searched but didn't see..

Point me in the right direction, but I searched under

Start car without remote and didn't get what I was looking for.

So, what happens if the remote key dies and we need to start our car?

OR should I just dig through my manual?

:P

dig thru your manual.

it says to hold the remote next to the start button if the battery on the remote dies.

Hold the fob up to the button. It will start. Fix fob.

I think holding it next to the start button will work even if the batteries are completely dead, thanks to passive RFID technology.

Wow, you seem to be starting a lot of threads... check out the FAQ's (Frequently asked questions). You'll find many of the answers you're looking for there.

Huh? If you're asking if I did go to LSU, then the answer is yes, I am an alumnus. Geaux tigers! (That's pronounced "Go tigers" for those of you not from Louisiana )

Oh.. No wonder why you are so grouchy.

I am one of your common foes.
