Default Chrome X-pkg wheels?

I really like my X-pkg wheels and I'm thinking of sending them down to Cali (from Oregon) to have them chromed. What do you guys think? Has anybody done or have seen these wheels in chrome? Any posted pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

I actually want to trade my chromed stock 18"s for X-package wheels, then chrome them as well.

Anyone want to trade?

Any suggestions on where to chrome? I've heard there are 3 step and 4 step chroming processes. Is one better than another or one place you could recommend? In Portland, OR there is no place I can find that does chroming. I've only found ones in CA.

There is a place here in AZ that does it.. I'll look for the link. I was told by another member. Apparently it's good stuff.

Thanks JB,

Have you or anybody heard of California Chrome Inc.?
Website is: www.calchrome.com
I haven't found anything from AZ yet, but would definitely look into it.

I see you got exactly the same car as me, options and all. Too bad we have no ML. I asked the dealer and it seemed to be too much work to have ML. Special order, waiting, etc... Didn't want to wait b/c my IS350 was avail right on dealer showroom. I got it for $40500 OTD, no tax in Oregon. TTL is $218 for 4 years (calculated it about $2700 off MSRP) Only 2 Lexus dealers in Oregon, so I didn't have much negot. room. Seattle and other Washington dealers wanted almost MSRP (probably lots of Microsoft clients.)

That's awesome we got the same car! I actually didn't want the ML though, so it was ok =). I got mine for 39,400, but I had to pay tax . I will keep looking for that link and get back to you as soon as I can! I haven't heard of that Cal Chrome place either.. Im leaning more towards a set of iForged in 19"s then chroming my wheels. I think our cars look REALLY good in 19s. I'll let you know what I find though as soon as I do. =). Congrats on the car too!!

JB, That was me. The company is Luxury Wheel Co. in Tempe (www.luxurywheel.com). They do the chrome wheel packages for all the Phoenix area dealers and had dozens of chromed OEM Lexus wheels in all styles when I was looking. I don't know if they have the X-pkg starfish wheels yet so you'll have to call them. On the stock IS wheels their deal was $600 for chrome exchange. I don't know how that compares to some of the chromers in SoCal though.

Thanks AZ,

I will look into them. I will probably run the stock rims through the winter in case they get banged and scratched up, then chome them in the spring. I'll hopefully get a digital cam by then and learn how to post pics.
