Wow...someone stole my IS250 emblem!
I parked my car where I usually park it at school and when I was walking back to my car I noticed something missing, my "Lexus" and my "IS250" emblems! I was so confused when I saw my emblems missing...first of all, I'd expect getting my emblems jacked at a mall parking lot or a high school parking lot but, not at my school. I go to UCLA and I would never expect a UCLA student(could have been someone not from UCLA) to jack emblems. Second, It's an IS250 emblem for goodness sake! But, yeah...now I have 4 holes where my emblems use to be and replacing them would cost me $100. I might as well just save up a little and buy a set of black pearl emblems. Eh, **** happens.

Ugh...I know how you feel. Over at UT Dallas someone stole my Honda emblem off my trunk. And I drive an Accord! Even worse, they scratched part of my trunk prying off the emblem. Haters...the world is out to get us.

I think the area around UCLA isn't ghetto at all...it's actually pretty nice...there's Beverly Hills and Westwood around the campus. Besides it's WEST LA.
Yeah, that sucks Riva. They actually did a pretty clean job with mine though...I guess they had the time to take it off nicely so they can resell/keep it =/

why not take this opportunity to just leave off the emblems? this way it would look real clean in the rear and no one will jack your emblems again! it would cost a little more to do this tho since there are holes that need to be covered and painted over.
btw, i went to ucla as well... cars were ALWAYS getting things jacked there. it's not the neighborhood, it's the students or the punks who are prowling the parking structures looking for things to take from cars.

ur gonna need to bondle and repaint the area... most body shops will probably paint the entire trunk area to match the paint correctly. total will be in the range of 250-300. it is an investment for sure, but personally, i like the look of an emblem-less rear.
