The QCJBL-1 harness inserts the Parrot audio after the amp, so the mute works fine. See http://www.parrotkits.com/donotcut.html - it is the second harness down.
I will check it out. I was going by what Car Toys and Best Buy installers told me. That would be good news. BlueParrot looks like a great product.

Motorola IHF-1000 BT adapter
I just ordered one of these for my 2008 IS250. My son is a Lexus technician and is going to help with the install. I am hoping to interface with vehicle audio system to mute during calls. I'll post with the results and maybe some pix if there is interest. It would be nice to get the steering wheel buttons, but that might be too much to hope for.
BTW, my wife's '07 ES 350 has factory BT without nav. Too bad that wasn't available for the IS.
