alright well im half way there. I installed the backup camera switch and it worked!! Only thing was it took about 5 hours to do everything (2-3 trips to radioshack) and the only reason we didnt finish was because radioshack gave us 1 wrong switch. What kind of switches are needed to power the ps2? DPDT? DPST? SPST? does it even matter?

the other thing is; with installing the backup camera switch,
you DONT NEED THE RELAY.
Just buy a SPDT switch and solder the power to the top, the HU side of the blue wire to the MIDDLE and the other blue wire to the bottom.

Worked like a charm!!!!

Haven't tried those yet. I am eager to wait for a VAIS Tech Ipod Video Integrator.

Nav TV Emulates DVD Changer Mode.

When it is in DVD Changer Mode, You can't switch Disc or Tracks.

I hope a Ipod Video Adapter would come out in the feature. I prefer using the steering wheel controls.

No idea on that.

Imagine this...

An Ipod Video Adapter that utilizes DVD Emulation mode.

You will have to have them sorted in 6 albums. (each album as each disk)

Problem with this is that how will u see the title names? No idea here. But it was just an thought.

I do not have an ipod connected, but i am sure it can be done with ease. Just standard Audio/Video RCA connections is needed.

Ok i understand with navtv you can not change tracks via steering wheel. But we can change tracks with a wireless remote that comes with the dvd player right? My goal this weekend is to place an order for navtv. I am trying to get a good feeling on if i should do it or not. But i also want to know if i am running into trouble or not?

I know it works. But what i am trying to find out is whats the installation like? I read thru this thread but i really couoldnt find the correct diy. Also a question on mind is does the sound work with navtv? basically that will cover all of my questions. I would appreciate all the help from any CL member. Thank you.
