Great! Where did you get it from? We can get the sound from the Vaistech AUX Input.. that will not be a problem.

Also, How would you switch on the Video Signal on the Nav unit?

i think they were saying something along the lines of using the AUX option...i know from previous posts that you just need an input for the actual video...you can use the aux outlet under the armrest for sound

ok cool. but i would prefer using a aux input for a cleaner install.

so how much? where do we buy?

how do we turn on the video? is it signal sensing?

im trying to get this cable.

i have been looknig around that website (http://www.rakuten.co.jp/t-plaza/710010/713290/) and found a few other things:

on this page: http://www.rakuten.co.jp/t-plaza/710010/713290/ there is an application for the IS. its towards the middle of the page. it lists chassis code GSE20, 21,25 which is the IS250 RWD, IS350, and IS250AWD.

clicking one of the large pictures takes you here: http://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/t-plaza/torituke.htm

on that page, there is a picture of a computer. clicking that takes you here: http://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/t-plaz...ubetu_torituke

scrolling down to the 3rd table, you will see the IS listed with this link: http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~tz9k-sum...vi-emv2/is.htm

which is pictures of a harness kit being installed. this harness kit is only for the JDM models with the TV option. this allows them to watch TV while on the move.

i have emailed a member of another forum that lives in japan and gets parts for people to see if he can get this (the cable with the RCA inputes) for me. i will keep you guys posted.

it seems they also have some sort of cable/switch to be able to use the destination features and what not while in motion: http://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/t-plaza/sw_op.htm

not sure how that would work though.
