guys i know its kinda a pain to re-read this entire thread, but a couple of us have done it without the nav-tv...you need to cut 3 wires in the back of the nav and soder in rca cables...its not very easy to do for a begginer but i had never done something like this before and took me about 5-10 hours and works fine.
