i have been looknig around that website (http://www.rakuten.co.jp/t-plaza/710010/713290/) and found a few other things:

on this page: http://www.rakuten.co.jp/t-plaza/710010/713290/ there is an application for the IS. its towards the middle of the page. it lists chassis code GSE20, 21,25 which is the IS250 RWD, IS350, and IS250AWD.

clicking one of the large pictures takes you here: http://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/t-plaza/torituke.htm

on that page, there is a picture of a computer. clicking that takes you here: http://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/t-plaz...ubetu_torituke

scrolling down to the 3rd table, you will see the IS listed with this link: http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~tz9k-sum...vi-emv2/is.htm

which is pictures of a harness kit being installed. this harness kit is only for the JDM models with the TV option. this allows them to watch TV while on the move.

i have emailed a member of another forum that lives in japan and gets parts for people to see if he can get this (the cable with the RCA inputes) for me. i will keep you guys posted.
This is what "car-lost" is refering to as to the model number.

Yes please find out. Blaupunkt has a external dvd player where you can route the remote sensor to the front. if adapter works, i plan to install the dvd player in the glove or trunk and access the controls via remote.

please let us know how this part works.

In theory.. Yes.

I like this one better...

http://hermanm.powweb.com/alpss/cata...yer-p-108.html

"
Features:
Horizontal Mount
Stand-Alone DVD Player
Tray Loading Mechanism
Front RCA A/V Input
VFD Display
Full Functioning Remote Control With Remote Eye
Dimensions: 7-1/8"W x 2-1/8"H x 9-3/16"D
Mounting Brackets Included
"

With the Remote Eye... You can virtually mount the unit in the trunk and be able to control the unit via remote. Simply aim the remote towards the Remote Eye and it will work!.

You would mount the Remote Eye on the Dash somewhere...

ahh.. it also has Input... so anything else with RCA will daisy chain too!

The remote eye looks like this...

Hi guys, I got the answer from my friend. Very interesting

In Japan, they just push the TV button twice. I don't know if there's any other way besides the "TV button".
