A lot of people are using it actually on the white cars. From what i hear/see, most people get a bit of yellowing on the roof when they remove it. Usually have to put in some work with compound to clear it up again. Vinyl will hold up, but if its gloss black i can almost guarantee you it will be scratched like crazy in the long run
And wrapping the sharkin is very difficult. My tint shop said no guarantees on how long the vinyl will stay on the fin. Deal breaker for me.

Yeah that fin either has to be painted, replaced with one from a Black IS (most common option), or plasti-dipped. There's no way Vinyl will hold up with the curves on that thing.
Anyone using black vinyl on the roof? I want to black my roof but can't paint it because its a lease and I'm curious how vinyl holds up, and how much it hurts the paint later when removed
im running vinyl roof and is holding up fine. As for scratches i was told by a member to buy a product called Novus fine scratch remover and well its been 3 years now and no problems at all.
Wish they had lips for the new bumper, I like the f sport kit but it's just not low enough even tucking on coils I don't scrape speed bumps, I like soleeasii's clearance!
