Default OTD Price for 07 is350

Hey guys, I am sure you are all sick of the "how much did you pay for your is350" threads, but I was wanting to know the true OTD (out the door) price you guys are paying for your is350's. This is TTL and all. I need some ammo when dealing with the lexus dealers around here.

Since you pretty much can't find a is350 without at least the prem. package, (without special order), I am curious.

I don't need navigation, since i have lived in texas my whole life and If i get lost then i have serious problems.

So please let me know what your total OTD price was for your is350.

TIA

Go here and look

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=208251

You can see what you get off msrp in your area and then do the tax and title math yourself. Do not forget the destination charge. When I looked (in FL) all of the cars had the prem package and summer tires here. Call around and find out what is standard in your area.

Of course this is the internet and nobody would stretch the truth. I remember somebody posting a huge discount off of an '07 and when questioned how they got such a good deal it turned out his family had bought many Lexus' from this dealer, so this was a kind of payback from the dealer. Or the one who had a relationship with the dealer and got an especially good deal. I think for the average schlub walking into a retail dealer the average discount is probably in the $1,500 - $2,500 range off of MSRP. That's not to say you can't do better if you are a sharp negotiator, or if the dealer is motivated, but I don't see a plethora of IS' sitting in dealer lots so I suspect they don't have to discount that aggressively. Markets like CA where there are lots of deales may make discounting more likely, but many markets are served by one or two dealers. In that case they don't have to discount much.

Best bet is for one to do their homework and know what the dealer's price is and negotiate up from that.

TX sales tax is 6.25% + the title fees which add another couple of hundred. A rough rule of thumb is if you can get your car OTD for the MSRP shown on the sticker you did a pretty good job.

Default thanks for the info

So far, I am getting quoated 38,899 OTD here in texas for is350 which has the summer tires, x-package, with wood. This sounds ok, but no navigation. I don't need navigation though nor want it.

thanks for the input

I paid Invoice for my new '06: $33,940. Summer tires, no other goodies. The invoice went up something like $800 for '07 though. As for tax/title/license... it will depend on your state. I'm not sure you can get an '07 at invoice though which is why I went with an '06

Kendall Lexus of Eugene, Oregon

$40500 OTD ($2735 off MSRP)

$43017 MSRP + $218-ttl. = 43235.00

2007 IS350 Showroom Car
XE, PT, NV, HL, Z1, LR in Obsid. Black/Black.
No tax in Oregon. TTL in OR is $218 for 4 years.

Only two dealerships in Oregon. Portland would only give me $1000 off MSRP and didn't have any in stock. Eugene (2 hrs away) is where I bought. Also 3 dealerships in Seattle area, but all were MSRP.

Everything by email. Not the best price, but I'm very happy.
My wait time was 1 day from final negot. to purchase.
I saved a lot and they made a heck of a lot of $$$.

You guys are lucky that you can get even near invoice on the IS 350. Here in Toronto we can't even get near the 5000 CAD off that would make it near invoice. I was able to get only $2500 off invoice for a fully loaded IS 350.
