I personally like it how it is. gold emblems will look tacky and Black pearl is KINDA way too damn expensive for what it is.

id just sand down the emblems and give it a couple coats of black paint.. ive been thinking about doing this to my chrome window trim. might be a PITA since the window trim is riveted to the door.
