Default 335i on the way!

I know, I've gone to the dark side!! I just ordered an '07 BMW 335i Coupe. Grey with Red/Black leather. 6-speed manual, Sport/Premium.

So I'm turning the IS350 over to my wife. I can't think of 2 cars I'd rather have for the money!

Of course the 4 Runner is staying as the "beater truck".

I'll try to keep you all posted when I get some GTech runs. I plan on doing dyno runs on the same day down the road just for fun.

Here's an article from C&D on the 335i in case you're bored:

I'm still wondering if I made the good move choosing the 350. I love that 335. Turbooooooooooooooooo

Although, the dealership (yet again) were total *** holes, plus I got 4g's off msrp on the IS plus cheaper insurance and everything else.

Good luck!!!

At least you'll make some new friends...at the Bmw service department!

JK, Congrats! You're really going to have fun once those kits come
out that will increase PSI on those turbos!

Congrats and good choice.

I have heard with a ECU reflash, you can get another 30+ bhp and ~20 lb-ft. When will the 335i arrive? Post some pics.

Congratulations. My ideal carline up would look similar to yours. IS350 and a 335i.

Nice choice man. IF I get this promotion at my job in January, I will be picking 1 up myself in Alpine white with Coral Red/Black w/Dakota Leather Upholstery if possible.

I'm assuming you test drove the 335i already. Can you post your thoughts on the 335 vs IS350 in terms of handling, speed, and pretty much everything else?

Have the wifey race you in the 350...j/k Those 335i's are quick. They will stomp on the E46 M3s with a few bolt ons.. congrats on the purchase and post some pics. We wont bash on you since you got a Bimmer... haha. j/k!

335i is the new B5 S4 (awesome). There's going to be a lot of sad E90 M3 owners out there once some tuner attention is paid toward the 335.

Hell, just an ECU re-do alone will do that. Adding bolt-ons would likely keep up with C6 Corvettes...

quick note on the 335... i test drove the sedan... and i checked out the back seat and i wanted to turn on the back light, when i pushed it in the whole light console was getting pushed into the roof... fit and finish was a little shaky, but the car was a beast and i loved the exhaust note
