Today while I was going to lunch from my office I had the wipers on regular speed during a rain storm. Everytime I came to a complete stop the wipers changed to the intermitent speed I had set on the wiper stalk. I would start moving again and the wipers would return to regular speed. I've owned my 2Is for nearly 11 months and never noticed that. I just thought it was cool.

umm.. my RSX has that too.. lol.. i think most cars has this now...

my e46 had it, people really dont even notice it, unless you point it out, but when they do finally realize it, it always wows them.

im sure it is rain sensing wipers... you know.. the new lexus ls can park itself... now dats wow...

I have only the premium package with winter floor mats and the trunk mat as my only extra options, so I am sure it does not have rain sensing wipers. I still have to turn the switch to activate the wipers. Rain sensing wipers should automatically start when they detect rain, or so I think.

I think I have it, but won't really know if it works since I don't plan to drive the car when it rains. Maybe I'll test when I wash the car next year

If you have rain sensing wipers you will need to move the wiper stalk one notch down from off for them to rain sense.
