Invoice is 35911 for those options, so basically you got an 07 for a few hundred less than invoice, in Texas.

Why not go to a few dealers and start talking turkey. You'll never know what dealer's in your area will do unless you talk to them. The negotiation is up to you as to whether you'll get the car of your choice at the price you want. Know their invoice price and negotiate up from that point.

BTW, the sales tax rate in TX is 6.25%. The title fees and other doc costs will add about another $300.

I got a base 07 IS250 for 31,755 + TTL with the preferred package and 18" wheels. I live in El Paso, but we will be moving to the San Antonio area soon.

i am in houston area and originally was looking to get *** raped here in texas. instead i bought mine in california and got it shipped to yee haw texas for 750. I got everything you would want. Nav, HID, 18' wheels and the premium package i believe(wood trim, heated/cooled seats) for 32154.

My wife and I were just comparing, for the same car, same options 38798 on I-45 I think Sterling Mccaull. Even the lady In Dallas at Sewall could not beat that price. Something to think about

Not really sure about texas but I got my 07' IS250 AWD PP/HS/HID Non Nav in MD for 33.5K OTD back in Dec 06. I think it is do able if there is a couple of dealerships you can negotiate with..

Good Luck

p/s I am sorry.. I registered the car in VA where the state tax is 3%.. but I still think it is do able with Texas Tax if you are just looking for RWD IS250 which is $2K less than mine. I negotiated mine down to $32.5K before OTD

im not a 250 but I got my setup for 39908 OTD. I-45 dealer was probably Northside, sterling mccall is at hwy 59 @ beltway 8. I got mine from Clear Lake Lexus. All I did was email all houston dealers, san antonio dealers, dallas dealers asking for white + black + x package + ML (was looking for a 07 at the time). Clear Lake called back and said they have an 06 which pretty much had the same things I was looking for. Avoided a special order wait and got a discount
