Hey, I just figured out an easy way to dyno from 3000 to redline... Do the pedal dance as usual, then put the thing into 4th gear. Put it in SNOW mode, once you hit 3000 rpm, start the dyno and floor it, after you hit 4500 rpm, hit the ect power button until you get to redline!

Try it out - you can try it for youself on the street - if you start around 3000-3100 rpm in snow mode and floor it, it won't downshift to 3rd.

is that ok for the engine to be switching modes like that? just curious... if it is then it'd be nice to see someone try it on the dyno.

you dont have to switch from snow to power mode. someone else mentioned dynoing in snow mode.

they compared both modes and they are essentially the same once you floor it.

I posted quite a bit of info about this here last month. There is no need to switch from snow to power mode, since the ECT mode does not have any impact on enging output at WOT.
