Default Weather Stripping around Doors

Has anyone else noticed that the weather stripping around the front/back doors is not that great... After I drive in my car while its raining and open the door once im home I will often have drops of water drip down onto me and the seat... Ive never had this problem in my moms 07' GS350 or my dads 99' Suburban!! Is my weather stripping bad or is this just a common occurance?? It seems like the water somehow gets past the rubber and drips in on me when the door is opened. I dont ever get any water in when the door is closed but as soon as I open the door I get drips when im exiting the car!

I notice this when I wash my car and I haven't dried it enough before I decided to open the door.

I guess it's just in the design, something you gotta live with i guess. Nothing is wrong with the car.

Yeah...my car does the same thing. If I open the driver side door after it had been raining, I'll get a few huge drops right onto the left side of the leather seat. It's extremely annoying.

There is definitely an issue with the design of the weather stripping.

my does the same thing, too. I kinda get used to it after many times of washing it. It's one of a few reasons that helps me keep the interior clean!!!
