hi stranger lynette wow if you've had yours for 9 months already then i must have had mine for 10 LOL i have regular caps on now..waiting for them to get stolen and then i'll put my locking ones back on

Mine got stolen while I was at church for a christening. I wouldn't put a lot of money into fancy valve stem caps because someone will just come around and steal those too. I thought about those that you tighten with a wrench, but with my luck, the thief will be persistent and probably break off the valve stem all together.

My brother works for a dealership, so he got me some of the Nitro fill caps for free.

the one i mentioned in my earlier post was the one cathafer showed you guys. i think it works great! just make sure to carry the 'key' w/you in case you need to add air in the tires.

Imagine having three friends come over to your house in a gated community to visit (OK, not visit, observe a light flywheel install), all with custom valve stem caps, and not one of them having a single one when they were ready to leave.

Thanks for the link to the locking caps. Those are really cool. It sure beats blue Loctite.

Right.....keep the "key" in the car so when you need to put air in the tires you have it. I gave mine to the service mgr to use when I had my 5k check up. Usually though I would fill them with air myself before I go in but I didn't have time after I washed the car first because I didn't want them washing it either.
