Default Would 225/50HR-17 for the rear tire be fine?

Hi, I just ordered some winter tires for my IS350 from Tire Rack. I ordered

225/45VR-17 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D XL
225/50HR-17 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D XL

The tire is new this year. Would there be any difference in having what I ordered (225/50HR-17) and having what Lexus recommended, which is 245/45R17 for the rear? Thank you very much!!

Please!! I really need a answer!! Would I lose some performance if I go with thinner tire (225 vs 245)?

Don't know about performance, but my question to you would be - will a 225 tire fit OK on your rear rim that calls for a 245?

By the way Consumer Reports just did a new rating of tires this month, if anyone is interested.
