AFS light fixed
I was able to go back to the shop today and get my AFS light situation fixed.
The problem in my case was not fixed by simply moving the bolt to the top position as found in this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...light+blinking
But it was fixed by moving an "arm" horizontally. My "arm" was pitched down, making a "V". This is not correct. I guess during the install when the suspension is loosened (pulled down) this gets knocked out of place. Those that were lucky who did not run into the AFS light problem were Im guessing, fortunate that when the suspension was tightened back up the "arm" folded back horizontally.
Anyways, I attached a picture below. Check to make sure everything on your car looks identical to this. Especially the angle of the "arm."

for some reason I cannot upload the picture. But the arm I am talking about is on the picture in the link above. The "arm" is on the left side of the picture, it is black and about 5 inches long. It is connected to the bolt that people have been moving to the top position.

Sorry for the delay
Ok, here it is.
Make sure your suspension looks IDENTICAL to this picture, especially the angle of the "arm" that I circled!!!!!! It is the same picture posted in the link in the first thread. leave the bolt that the red arrows are pointing to in the stock(middle position).
Need more help, just ask.
Good Luck

The procedure to set this correctly is shown in the factory service manual. The link provides the page numbers. Just have the Lexus tech refer to those pages, or if the mods don't mind, we can post an extract from the manual on how to do it. There's a lot of guesswork in what I've read about doing this. The service manual removes all doubt about what works and what doesn't.
